During a huge platform migration effort that started on October 2015, I've been responsible for overseeing the front-end implementation of modules and functionality of Hearst European sites.
Along with the Head of Development, I work directly with Product Managers, Project Managers, QA teams and UX designers, helping to drive clear communication and development processes that streamline delivery and benefits the product.Version control: The site was locally developed using Amazon EC2 instances and the Gitflow workflow.
Hearst UK: Good Housekeeping Institute (GHI) ~ June 2014 - October 2015

As the front-end lead, I developed the CSS architecture using Sass to ensure modularity and the toolkit Susy for the grid. Working along with back-end developers, we created the first mobile-friendly build for a product reviews website in the UK.
It involved creating ExpressionEngine templates to output the GHI's large range of product tests and consumer advice articles. The website went live in November 2014.
Increasing mobile traffic was key to start a second iteration. Final mobile-friendly build was launched on September 2015.

GoLocalise website has over 6GB of data translated and organised into 9 different languages. Following an extensive content audit, I designed responsive layouts and made localised interfaces to serve all the languages involved.
A key challenge was to build an interactive gallery of hundreds of voiceover artists showcasing all their video and audio demos.Key EE add-ons used:Matrix, Playa, Publisher, Stash and Freeform.

For 6 years I played the role of special projects coordinator which involved providing solid concepts on the look and feel as well as HTML/CSS prototyping work for the BBC's Latin American presence. I dealt with editors, programmers, designers, copy writers and project managers with the goal of recreating web content and make it much more effective and memorable for online users.
